Join more than 1,200 dynamic young professionals coming together tomorrow night for the 8th annual Peace Market where they’ll be engaged in premium open bar, music by Questlove & Chromeo, food, a hummus taste-off, live auction (pair of VMA-tickets and more), dancing and the sights and sounds of the Middle East. All proceeds go toward benefiting Seeds of Peace. The event is at the Metropolitan Pavilion (125 W. 18th Street) with a private after-party at The Jane Hotel in meatpacking.
Seeds of Peace is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. That’s 20 years of bringing more than 5,000 teenagers from regions of conflict in the Middle East to a Summer camp in Maine each year. Often times, it’s their first time having ever met anyone from “the other side”. When the teens graduate from the program, they become champions of peace as they grow up to become leaders in their respective industries. The initial classes of campers are now in their 20’s and early 30’s and living all over the world. In year’s past, the event has drawn guests from Robert Dinero, David Cross, Amber Tamblyn and Ivanka Trump.
This year’s celebrity guest list is still evolving, but you can bet there will be some all-star celebrities in attendance. They’ve sold over 1100 tickets at this time, and are expecting a full house tomorrow night! Don’t miss out — get your tickets now and join us at this year’s 8th annual Peace Market!
