It has always been a challenge to scientists and philosophers alike to determine what gives rise to an individuals conscious experience. What is it that produces each one of our unique perspectives and experience of reality? Is it like the materialists say: that electrical impulses in the brain that have evolved for millions of years eventually gave rise to our experience of consciousness? Or is it as the yogi’s say where mind was the foundation for the universe and material reality is illusion? I would argue that it’s actually some where in between.
